Common kese questions
Can I use this on my face?
We highly recommend not using this on your face as the skin on your face is much more delicate than the rest of your body. Our keses are specifically designed to help with body exfoliation. If you are interested in us making a face appropriate exfoliator let us know (we'll seriously consider this)!
Can I use this everyday?
Just like your face, you don't want to be exfoliating daily as it may compromise your skin barrier. Keses should be used every 7-10 days for your skin feel it's best.
How do I use a kese?
To use your kese all you need is a hot shower or bath.
It takes a few minutes for your skin to soften; so if you're in a bath just relax, and if you're in the shower do your hair products first. Once your skin is softened put on your kese (or hold it if it is the back kese), and stroke your skin in long firm strokes. If you're using a body kese, outstretch your fingers and use the kese with your whole palm. Flat, firm, and long strokes, and don't over do it!
Everyone's bodies are different so you might have large roles of dead skin roll off, or you might just have a milky consistency of dead skin roll off.
Once you're done, rinse and hang your kese, and soap your body as you normally would.
Trust the process, and make sure to moisturize your skin and hydrate with a glass of water after your bath or shower.
How do I wash my kese?
Simply rinse your kese after use and hang it in the shower. don't forget to flip it inside out to get out all the dirt.
You can put it inside out in a delicates bag and wash it in the machine every quarter, but make sure there's no bleach or harsh chemicals that may damage it or it's the texture.
